It’s About More than Soccer. It’s About Growing Up.

Soccer brings people together. On and off the field, a team is a community you can trust. A place to belong and learn important life skills.

Our Mission

At Box2Box, we use soccer as a tool to empower refugees and new American students to become leaders, independent thinkers, and high-achieving scholars. Our programs focus on English proficiency, self-confidence, and holistic, trauma-informed support. Together with our volunteers and partners, we’re building a lifelong community wholly invested in each student — from middle and high school and beyond.

Sportsmanship

We believe teams and sport can have a broad impact on student development.

  • Teams help us develop our identity and build relationships
  • Teams give us a sense of community and and social development
  • Positive reinforcement is good for our mental health
  • Daily practice keeps us disciplined
  • Good nutrition fuels success
